A leading financial service provider in Singapore is seeking a responsible Financial Accountant to manage accurate financial records. This role includes bookkeeping, managing daily financial tasks, and collaborating on tax and audit matters. Job Description & Requirements

We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team. This role involves managing and maintaining accurate financial records for the company and its overseas cooperation partners. The successful candidate will be responsible for daily accounting tasks and supporting the financial management function.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform management accounting tasks, including bookkeeping and ensuring accurate financial records for the company and its cooperation partners.
  • Reconcile general ledger accounts and key financial reports.
  • Handle daily financial duties such as processing payments to vendors and clients, managing petty cash, credit card payments, and staff expense claims, etc.
  • Collaborate with external professional parties for company secretarial duties, tax, and audit matters.
  • Ensure accounting controls are maintained by adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Support ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the Financial Controller, based in Hong Kong.

To be successful in this role, you must be:

  • Be responsible, self-motivated, and detail-minded with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Have strong analytical and communication skills and be sensitive to financial data.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to learn, with a positive attitude, a high sense of responsibility, and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Have a sound understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

  • University graduate in Accounting/ Finance/ related discipline;
  • At least 3 years of working experience in a commercial enterprise;
  • A Certified Professional Accountant (CPA) qualification is an advantage;
  • Knowledge of Australian regulations, such as Business Activity Statements (BAS), and experience working with tax agents to comply with ATO (Australian Taxation Office) requirements is a plus.
