Job summary

LAPP Asia Pacific Pte Ltd invites high-potential graduates to join the Level Up Trainee Program – Finance & Controlling. Over 24 months you will rotate through FP&A, Operations Controlling, and Sales Controlling across multiple APAC markets, with one global assignment at our HQ.

You will work under senior finance leaders, receive mentorship, and build cross-regional experience, with relocation within APAC encouraged to prepare for future leadership roles.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Outstanding academic achievements from a renowned university.
• Initial practical experience in Finance & Controlling is an advantage (internships, working student roles).
• Strong command of English; additional Asian languages or German are a plus.
• International exposure through study abroad, internships, or exchange programs.
• Highly mobile and motivated to take on assignments across APAC and a global rotation.
• Singaporeans and Permanent Residents only and able to obtain short-term visas for APAC countries as well as Germany.

Responsibilities

• Rotate through Finance & Controlling teams across multiple APAC countries (minimum 2-3 overseas assignments), each rotation lasting 3-4 months.
• Gain hands-on experience in FP&A, Operations Controlling, Sales Controlling, and related finance tasks.
• Take ownership of regional and cross-functional projects contributing to business performance.

About the Finance Trainee Program (24 Months)

Our APAC Finance Trainee Program is designed to develop high‑potential graduates into future leaders in Finance & Controlling within the LAPP Group. Over the course of 24 months, you will gain deep exposure to the financial operations of one of the world’s most diverse and dynamic business regions.

A defining feature of this program is its broad geographic scope: you will complete multiple mandatory rotations across different countries in the Asia‑Pacific Region. These may include markets such as Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, India, China, Korea, and Australia/New Zealand.

This regional exposure ensures that you develop a comprehensive understanding of different regulatory frameworks, market dynamics, and business practices across APAC.

In addition to APAC rotations, the program also includes one global assignment, typically at our German Headquarters or another LAPP region. This international rotation strengthens your global mindset and prepares you for cross‑regional collaboration.

During the program, you will:

• Rotate through Finance & Controlling teams across multiple APAC countries (minimum 2-3 overseas assignments), while each rotation typically lasts 3-4 months.

• Gain hands‑on experience in FP&A, Operations Controlling, Sales Controlling, as well as responsibilities in other finance‑associated tasks.

• Take ownership of regional and cross‑functional projects that directly contribute to business performance.

• Engage closely with senior finance leaders and receive structured mentorship throughout the journey.

• Build the international exposure and cultural agility required for a long‑term career at LAPP.

Upon successful completion of the program, you are expected to have the willingness to relocate internationally, within the APAC Region, to headquarters or another Lapp Region to continue your career in Finance or Controlling as part of LAPP’s talent and leadership pipeline.
