Strong communication skills in English and Mandarin are preferred.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of finance-related experience, ideally with exposure to fintech, trading platforms, or digital assets.
  • Ability to manage multi-currency financial reporting and assess implications of asset valuation methodologies.
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, or regulated financial environments preferred.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Finance Reporting & Planning Manager for a fast-growing global financial technology platform. This role requires strong expertise in financial reporting, planning, and business analysis, as well as familiarity with innovative digital asset structures and emerging market business models. You will play a critical role in financial reporting, budgeting, profitability modeling, and performance analysis, serving as a key partner between finance, data, and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Reporting & Compliance

  • Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS or US GAAP.
  • Ensure accurate accounting, valuation, and classification of diverse asset classes, including digital instruments.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and support reviews involving complex products, incentive mechanisms, and digital assets.
  • Maintain robust reconciliation processes across wallets, accounts, and financial systems to safeguard accuracy and reliability.
  • Deliver insightful financial analysis and reporting to support executive decision-making.

Financial Planning & Budget Management

  • Lead the company’s annual budget process and quarterly forecasts, providing analysis and variance reporting.
  • Develop multidimensional budget models across products, markets, and regions.
  • Assess revenue composition, customer profitability, and unit economics for key business lines.
  • Partner with business units to provide financial guidance on resource allocation and cost efficiency.

Profitability Analysis & Modeling

  • Build and maintain P&L models with granular attribution and margin analysis.
  • Design revenue recognition and allocation models for complex transaction structures.
  • Evaluate the impact of incentive programs, rewards structures, and other strategic mechanisms on overall profitability.
  • Provide financial validation for business initiatives, fee structures, and market development strategies.

Data & Systems Integration

  • Collaborate with technology and data teams to design automated financial reporting workflows.
  • Build BI dashboards and KPI frameworks integrating financial, business, and operational data.
  • Support deployment and enhancement of finance systems and tools relevant to digital finance.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • Professional certification preferred (CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA, or equivalent).
  • 5+ years of finance-related experience, ideally with exposure to fintech, trading platforms, or digital assets.
  • Strong financial modeling, reporting, and business analysis capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with BI/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Looker, Tableau).
  • Ability to manage multi-currency financial reporting and assess implications of asset valuation methodologies.
  • Strong bilingual communication skills (English and Chinese a plus as is needed to communicate with overseas chinese stakeholders who are mandarin speaking)
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, or regulated financial environments preferred.
