The Finance Manager will be in charge of the regional and global subsidiaries consolidation of group financial reporting, setting good controlling for finance flows, overseeing the treasury operations and efficiently manage cash pooling. You are required to collaborate closely with 3rd-party banking solution providers/partners, ensuring all financial processes are aligned with the Head Office (HO)’s SOP and policies. Strong finance/accounting expertise with strong foundation, technical expertise, driven with self-motivating positive approach, cross-border experiences would be ideal.
Area of Responsibilities

Financial Controlling, Reporting & Group Consolidation
- Lead the preparation and review of consolidated financial statements covering subsidiaries mainly in Asean/Europe.
- Ensure all reports comply with IFRS, local statutory requirements, and Head Office reporting policies.
- Manage accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely submission to the Head Office in Japan.

Treasury, Cash Management & Cash Pooling (transfer pricing included)
- Manage and optimize the Group’s cash pooling structure across global.
- Work closely with appointed banking partners to enhance liquidity management, centralize cash positions, and improve capital efficiency.
- Oversee intercompany funding activities and maintain proper documentation in compliance with tax and transfer pricing guidelines.

Governance, Compliance & Audit
- Coordinate with external auditors for statutory audits and ensure all audit recommendations are effectively implemented.
- Establish, monitor, and strengthen internal control processes to mitigate financial and operational risks.

Planning, Budgeting & Strategic Financial Management
- Lead the budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning process across the region.
- Provide management with strategic financial insights and recommendations to support decision‑making.
- Monitor financial performance indicators and elevate key issues promptly.

Process Improvement & Operational Excellence
- Identify gaps and implement enhancements to streamline finance operations, treasury processes, and reporting workflows.
- Promote best practices across the Group and ensure the Finance Team consistently achieves high standards of accuracy, efficiency, and compliance.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the Finance Team to ensure high performance standards.
- Leading future system consolidation and enhancement projects.
Qualifications required
- CPA qualified (strongly) with minimum 10 years of relevant experience in Singapore. Would be an advantage if experiences also cover other ASEAN/ Europe region.
- Strong solid capability in handling Group Consolidation of Financial Reporting & Analysis.
- Familiar with matrix reporting, lean setup locally and perfectly capable /confident.
- Hands‑on and strong expertise in treasury management, cash pooling, and cross‑border funding.
- Ability to scale as the company grow or transition for process improvement, self‑motivated with initiatives at work.
- Demonstrated proficiency in multi‑entity group consolidation.
- Experience liaising with international banks and working with treasury platforms, listed companies' reporting would be great.
- Well‑versed in IFRS, as well as Singapore, international/ EU regulatory frameworks.
- SAP or any ERP system experiences.
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage finance operations independently.
- Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, and problem‑solving abilities.
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with strong attention to detail and project management skills.
