- Salary Range: $5,000 - $6,000 + Performance Bonus [ No AWS ]
Marketing Agency in connecting social influencer with clients from luxury, lifestyle, automotive, wellness and culture brands. Current team in Singapore is 30 headcount and 10 headcount in Malaysia.
Requirements
- Ideal candidate must come from marketing agency / studio & production / media house industry.
- Ideal candidate must have experience in international finance [ eg: SG & MY ].
- At least Degree in Accounting with 3-5 years in full set accounts experience.
- Must master Xero system, familiar with SFRS, Singapore GST, Malaysia SST and payroll across Singapore & Malaysia.
- Occasionally travel to KL office is required.
Job Scopes
- Run a full set of accounts for SG (HQ) and MY entities in Xero; maintain clean GL, AR/AP, fixed assets and project/job costing.
- Lead month-end close by T+5 (management accounts by T+7): P&L, balance sheet, cashflow, variance commentary and actionable insights for leadership.
- Prepare consolidated management reports (entity, portfolio and client/job views) with trend analysis and margin drivers; present at monthly leadership.
- Ensure GST (SG) and SST (MY) compliance incl. rate changes, transitional rules, reconciliations and returns.
- Maintain compliance with SFRS/SFRS for Small Entities; coordinate annual financial statements, external audit and tax agents.
- Build and track annual budget, quarterly re‑forecasts and rolling 13‑week cashflow; scenario plan for pitch wins/losses and hiring ramps.
- Partner account leads on client/project pricing sheets, production budgets and post‑mortems; drive GP% and utilization targets.
- Own cashflow management: daily cash position, treasury/YouBiz card controls, intercompany settlements, FX where relevant.
- Tighten AR: credit terms by client type, IO/PO hygiene, milestone billing, dunning cadence, dispute resolution; forecast cash conversion.
- Govern AP: vendor onboarding, W-9/WHT equivalents (where applicable), 3‑way match (PO‑GRN‑Invoice) for production/media, payment runs.
- Oversee payroll and statutory submissions: CPF (SG); EPF / SOCSO (MY), including new EPF requirements for non‑Malaysian employees effective Oct 2025; coordinate with HR on policies, benefits and year‑end.
