Job summary

About The Opportunity
What You’ll Be Doing
  • Responsible for preparing the statutory financial accounting and reporting for the Group, including consolidated financial statements under IFRS/US GAAP.
  • Assist in liaising with the auditors, legal counsels, tax, business and regional finance teams.
  • Provide accounting support to the group and regional finance teams and assist in preparation of technical accounting papers.
  • Prepare the group accounting policies, including the implementation of process and system changes.
  • Participate in establishing, implementing and improving controls and business processes, in particular crypto accounting related processes.
  • Prepare tax accounting computation (i.e. deferred tax, provisional tax).
  • Assist in ad-hoc special projects, including but not limited to valuation, internal control processes, M&A, adoption of new accounting standards, and system implementation.
What We Look For In You
  • Minimum 9 years of relevant working experience in preparing/managing/auditing complex group consolidation (i.e. subsidiary, associate, Joint venture, non-controlling interest) in Big 4 external audit or commercial are desired.
  • Experience in US SEC reporting (ie 10Q/10K/20F) and involved in US IPO project is preferred.
  • Degree in Accountancy or recognizable accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA and etc.).
  • Strong business acumen who can effectively navigate complex business environments and willing to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • A team player with good organisation skills and an eye for accuracy and detail.
  • Competency in IFRS/US GAAP is required.
  • System-savvy, proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in Oracle/Hyperion and data analytic tool is an advantage.
  • Preferably possess crypto knowledge.
  • Proficient in English as a working language, and fluent in Mandarin to communicate with Mandarin stakeholders, as per required in the role.
