Job description

Responsibilities:

• Manage the preparation of full sets of accounts and facilitate the group’s financial consolidation process.

• Ensure accuracy of financial statements for both the company and the group.

• Provide guidance on complex accounting matters and ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, SFRS).

• Lead the implementation of new accounting standards and support process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency and accuracy.

• Collaborate with external auditors during the annual audit process.

• Support the Group with ESG reporting and related sustainability initiatives.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with business units, finance, and management teams to provide insights and support decision-making.

• Remain adaptable to changing business needs and take on additional responsibilities beyond core financial reporting duties as required.

Requirements:

• Degree in Accountancy or a recognized equivalent professional qualification.

• 8–10 years of relevant experience; experience with a Big4 audit firm will have added advantageous.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to engage with stakeholders across divisions.

• Familiarity with sustainability principles and reporting frameworks (e.g., ISSB, TCFD, GRI) will have added advantageous.
