Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily financial operations, including accounting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
  • Prepare financial statements, management reports, and cash flow forecasts.
  • Monitor project costs, variance analysis, and overall project profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and accounting standards.
  • Lead and coordinate annual audit processes, serving as the primary liaison with external auditors.
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, tax advisors, and relevant regulatory bodies.
  • Review GST submissions, tax computations, and corporate tax filings to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to junior staff on accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Prepare and review year-end consolidation reports.
  • Ensure strict adherence to monthly and year-end closing schedules and the completeness of all submissions.
  • Handle other ad-hoc financial reporting tasks or duties assigned by Management.
Job Requirements
  • Degree in Accountancy or equivalent, with at least 5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Meticulous, organized, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
