Group Finance Manager

Reporting to: Group Financial Controller & Chief Financial Officer

We are a growing group with expansion plans through the acquisition of overseas companies, particularly in China, to leverage established networks and capabilities for regional and international project bidding. We are seeking a highly capable Group Finance Manager to support this growth strategy and strengthen our group finance function.

Key Responsibilities
  • Report directly to the Group Financial Controller on all group finance matters.

  • Lead and manage group consolidation and ensure accurate, timely and compliant group financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

  • Play a key role in mergers and acquisitions, including financial due diligence, valuation support, transaction structuring, post‑acquisition integration and ongoing financial oversight of acquired entities.

  • Oversee financial performance, controls and reporting of overseas subsidiaries, with a particular focus on China operations.

  • Support the Group’s expansion strategy by working closely with business and operational teams to evaluate investment opportunities and project bids.

  • Provide financial guidance on mergers, acquisitions, investments, and other growth opportunities.

  • Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and internal control requirements across the Group.

  • Provide financial insights, analysis and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision‑making.

  • Manage, mentor and develop finance team members where applicable.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline; professional qualification (e.g. CA, CPA, ACCA) is strongly preferred.

  • More than 7 years of relevant working experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

  • Proven experience in managing mergers and acquisitions, including hands‑on involvement in due diligence and integration.

  • Strong technical expertise in group consolidation and financial reporting, preferably in a multi‑entity and cross‑border environment.

  • Experience working with or overseeing overseas subsidiaries, ideally including exposure to China.

  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders.

  • Able to thrive in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented environment.
