Particularly, the candidate will be responsible for end-to-end finance functions, including accounting, budgeting, internal controls, cash flow analysis, grant administration, and implementing a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. This role requires both hands‑on financial management and strategic oversight, with opportunities to shape finance policies, processes, and systems to support long-term sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
1. Stewardship of Finance & Accounting
  • Lead day-to-day finance operations to ensure accuracy, compliance, and integrity.
  • Build and uphold strong internal controls to safeguard community resources.
  • Partner with auditors, regulators, and stakeholders to ensure trust and accountability.
2. Budgeting and Cashflow Forecasting for a new Mission
  • Develop budget and cashflow models and conduct regular analysis to ensure sufficient liquidity for operations and the nursing home development project.
  • Lead annual budgeting and periodic forecasting exercises in consultation with senior management.
  • Monitor financial performance against budget, prepare variance analysis, and provide timely insights for decision‑making.
4. Grants & Partnerships
  • Support project owners in grant applications, claims, and reporting with precision and timeliness.
  • Strengthen relationships with funders by ensuring transparent stewardship of funds.
  • Ensure grant compliance and track fund utilisation.
5. Systems for the Future
  • Support the Digitalisation team in rolling out a new Enterprise Resource Planning system, ensuring requirements are met.
  • Develop SOP and mentor users in adopting new systems and practices.
What We’re Looking For
  • A degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field; professional qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CA) preferred.
  • 6–8 years of relevant experience, including managerial or supervisory responsibilities.
  • Strong technical knowledge in accounting, budgeting, and cashflow management.
  • Experience with government grants and ERP system implementation is an advantage.
  • A problem‑solver with integrity, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit.
