A financial services firm in Singapore is seeking a candidate to manage accounting operations and lead financial planning & analysis. The ideal applicant should have 3-6 years of relevant experience, a degree in finance or accounting, and strong analytical and organisational skills. Knowledge of Singapore tax laws and ERP systems is an advantage.
Manage day-to-day accounting operations including AP, AR, and GL postings
Monitor AR ageing, enforce credit control policies, and follow up on collections
Perform bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly
Prepare and file GST submissions and corporate tax returns (IRAS) in compliance with Singapore regulations
Maintain accurate financial records and prepare for statutory and external audits
Support cash flow management and liquidity tracking
Lead the preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
Analyse monthly and quarterly financial results against budget/forecast, identifying key variances and drivers
Prepare management reports, dashboards, and presentations with actionable insights
Support strategic initiatives with financial modelling, scenario analysis, and business case evaluation
Partner with department heads to optimise financial performance
Drive process improvements, automation, and streamlining of financial reporting
Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (ACCA or equivalent professional certification is an advantage)
3–6 years of relevant experience in accounting/finance in Singapore, with exposure to both compliance and FP&A
Strong knowledge of Singapore tax laws and corporate regulations
Proficient in Excel and financial modelling; familiarity with ERP systems a plus
Experience in credit control, audit readiness, and implementing financial controls
Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail
Excellent organisational skills with ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and presentation abilities
