Job Summary

The role of a Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing budgeting, forecasting, reporting, cash flow, and accounting operations while ensuring compliance with SFRS/IFRS and internal controls. The role also involves providing financial insights and supporting business growth initiatives.

Job Descriptions
  • Business Partnering & Decision Support
    • Serve as the finance business partner to various business units and functional leaders.
    • Deliver timely financial analysis, dashboards, and recommendations to support commercial decisions, pricing strategies, investments, and cost optimization.
    • Translate financial information into actionable business insights to enhance performance and profitability.
    • Assist management in evaluating new business opportunities, projects, and strategic initiatives.
  • Budgeting, Forecasting & Performance Management
    • Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts in collaboration with business stakeholders.
    • Track performance against budgets and forecasts, identify variances, and propose corrective actions.
    • Develop KPIs and reporting frameworks to monitor business performance effectively.
  • Financial & Management Reporting
    • Prepare accurate and timely monthly management accounts and financial reports.
    • Ensure consistency and integrity of financial data across business units and functions.
    • Present financial results to senior management, highlighting risks, opportunities, and key trends.
  • Operational Finance & Controls
    • Oversee accounting operations, including AP, AR, GL, and cash management, to ensure smooth month‑end closing.
    • Strengthen internal controls and ensure compliance with accounting standards (SFRS/IFRS) and company policies.
    • Collaborate with external auditors and tax consultants on statutory requirements.
  • Cash Flow & Treasury Management
    • Monitor working capital, cash flow, and liquidity to support business operations.
    • Prepare cash flow forecasts and recommend strategies for optimization.
    • Manage relationships with banks on treasury and financing matters.
  • Process Improvements & Systems
    • Drive automation, process improvements, and ERP/system enhancements to improve efficiency.
    • Implement financial tools and templates to enhance forecasting, reporting, and analysis.
    • Provide guidance and support to Finance/Accounts Executives.
    • Undertake ad‑hoc projects or other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
  • Diploma or Degree in Accounting, or professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, or CPA.
  • 6–8 years of relevant experience managing end‑to‑end accounting and finance functions.
  • Prior audit experience is highly advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and IFRS.
