A leading recruitment agency in Singapore is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee daily operations, ensure compliance with financial standards, and lead the Finance team. Candidates must have a Bachelor's in Accountancy and at least 10 years of experience, including 5 years in multinational companies. Strong analytical skills and proficiency in ERP systems are essential. This role offers competitive remuneration and benefits.
Oversee daily financial operations, including control, analysis, and reporting activities.
Supervise all core finance functions: expense monitoring, general ledger, cash flow, banking, foreign exchange exposure, AR/AP, fixed assets, inventory, credit control, and taxation.
Review and ensure accurate and timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing.
Analyze monthly financial performance in line with management and group reporting requirements.
Prepare and review management reports for internal and external stakeholders.
Ensure all financial records comply with IFRS and Singapore Financial Reporting Standards.
Establish appropriate reserves and accruals in accordance with statutory requirements.
Manage the completion of statutory and group audits in collaboration with external auditors.
Maintain strong relationships with tax authorities and ensure timely filing of GST and Corporate Tax.
Respond to inquiries and questionnaires from IRAS and other regulatory bodies.
Stay updated on developments in IFRS, Singapore tax, and accounting regulations.
Lead, mentor, and develop the Finance and Accounting team to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
Provide expert advice and technical guidance on financial matters to senior management.
Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and controls.
Communicate proactively and consistently with Headquarters and subsidiary offices on financial performance and operational matters.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent.
Minimum 10 years of full-spectrum accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a multinational company environment.
At least 2 years of experience in a managerial or leadership position.
Strong understanding of Singapore accounting and taxation standards.
Proven leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills with a proactive and hands-on approach.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and conceptual thinking skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems.
Meticulous, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
