Job description

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage finance operations across multiple countries, ensuring compliance with local statutory requirements and alignment with group financial policies.
• Lead and mentor the finance team across regions, providing guidance, direction, and support to ensure high performance and effective collaboration.
• Be accountable for the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting across all entities.
• Review and prepare consolidated financial statements, management reports, and analysis for senior management.
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for statutory filings and audits.
• Develop, implement, and maintain robust financial controls, accounting policies, and reporting processes across the group.
• Manage funding requirements, cash flow planning, and other operational finance activities.
• Work closely and communicate with business unit owners to provide financial guidance, support operational decisions, and ensure alignment with overall business goals.
• Undertake additional ad hoc assignments and projects as required.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
• Proven experience leading a finance team and being the primary person in charge of finance operations.
• Experience with group consolidation and multi-entity reporting is preferred.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders across countries.
• Relevant accounting degree/diploma and professional qualifications (e.g. ACCA, CPA) will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems; familiarity with QuickBooks is an advantage.
