Job description
Roles and Responsibilities
  • Take full responsibility for the company’s accounting operations, ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of the general ledger, month-end closing, and financial reports (such as the balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement).
  • Ensure accurate calculation and timely disbursement of employee salaries.
  • Lead regular financial analyses, providing management with in-depth operational insights and decision-making support.
  • Optimize and manage core financial processes, including collections, payments, invoicing, bookkeeping, and payroll accounting, ensuring efficient operations and compliant record-keeping.
  • Accurately monitor and manage the company’s accounts receivable and accounts payable, safeguarding cash flow and maintaining credit health.
  • Implement effective cash flow management and short-term/long-term fund forecasting to ensure the safety of the company’s capital and enhance fund utilization efficiency.
  • Organize and lead the preparation, tracking, and analysis of the company’s annual operational forecasts and comprehensive budgets; monitor and report on budget execution effectively.
  • Represent the company in leading communication and coordination with auditing firms, tax agents, banks, and other regulatory bodies.
  • Ensure that all tax filings, financial reports, and compliance documents are submitted accurately and on time, fully meeting regulatory requirements.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or other related disciplines.
  • Must hold a locally or internationally recognized professional accounting qualification, such as CPA Singapore, ACCA, or other equivalent certifications.
  • Minimum of 5 years of financial experience in the trading industry, with strong familiarity with the financial characteristics and business processes of the trade sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial analysis, cash flow management, and budgeting, with solid internal control awareness and the ability to continuously optimize financial processes and systems.
  • Excellent bilingual communication skills in both Chinese and English (written and verbal), in order to liaise with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders from other countries.
  • Possess a high sense of responsibility, meticulous attention to detail, and strong resilience under pressure.
