We are seeking a capable and driven Finance Manager to oversee the financial health of our organization. This role involves financial planning, analysis, reporting, budgeting, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will provide insights to senior management for decision‑making while managing day‑to‑day financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
Daily Finance Operations
  • Prepare daily accounting functions including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions and maintain proper documentation.
Financial Reporting & Analysis
  • Prepare, analyze, and present accurate and timely financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct variance analysis to compare actual results with budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management to support business decisions.
Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Lead the annual budgeting process, coordinating with various departments to align financial objectives with company goals.
  • Monitor and manage the company's cash flow to ensure adequate liquidity for operations.
Financial Planning & Strategy
  • Support the development of long‑term financial strategies to ensure profitability and growth.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities, providing actionable recommendations to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
  • Advise on investment decisions, capital expenditures, and financing options.
Compliance & Audit
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, including tax filing, audits, and financial reporting standards.
  • Liaise with external auditors to facilitate year‑end audits and ensure timely completion.
  • Ensure that all accounting and financial procedures meet legal and internal guidelines.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial management, with a proven track record of leadership.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
  • Advanced proficiency in financial management software (MYOB & Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience working in a Private Education Institution (PEI) will be an advantage.
