About the Role

Vinova is looking for a Finance Manager to take ownership of our financial operations and strategy in a fast‑paced, project‑driven IT outsourcing environment. You will manage daily finance activities, ensure compliance, support business decisions, and maintain financial health across cross‑border projects.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Operations & Accounting
  • Manage accounting operations including AP, AR, GL, bank reconciliations, invoicing, and payment processing.
  • Ensure timely and accurate monthly, quarterly, and year‑end closings.
  • Oversee invoicing (T&M, milestone billing, fixed‑price), collections, and payment processing.
  • Monitor cash flow, maintain forecasts, and manage banking relationships.
2. Project-Based Cost & Revenue Tracking
  • Track project‑level revenues and costs; coordinate with Project Managers for earned revenue recognition.
  • Ensure accurate cost accruals for ongoing projects.
  • Support revenue recognition based on SFRS 115 / IFRS 15, aligned with project progress reports and milestones.
3. Budgeting & Forecasting
  • Assist in annual budget planning across departments.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts and variance analysis versus actuals.
  • Monitor departmental spending, headcount costs, and utilization metrics.
4. Compliance & Taxation
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with Singapore (ACRA, IRAS) and Vietnam (GDT) financial laws.
  • Prepare and file GST/VAT returns, corporate income tax, and handle withholding tax for cross‑border payments.
  • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and authorities as needed.
5. Process Control & System Support
  • Maintain and improve finance SOPs, internal controls, and approval workflows.
  • Support ERP/accounting system implementation and integration with CRM, project, or payroll tools.
  • Ensure proper documentation and audit trails for all transactions.
6. Business Support & Analysis
  • Prepare management reports, cash flow analysis, and profitability reports.
  • Support sales and delivery teams with pricing models, financial KPIs, and margin analysis.
  • Assist in evaluating vendor contracts, client proposals, and financial implications of new initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • 5–8 years of experience in accounting, finance management, or financial analysis, preferably in IT Outsourcing.
  • Strong experience in budgeting, project costing, and financial forecasting.Excellent analytical skills; able to turn complex data into actionable insights.
  • Strong communication skills with senior stakeholders.
  • Solid understanding of financial reporting, accounting standards, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with QuickBooks Online and advanced Excel; ERP experience is a plus.
