Finance & Investment Executive (Chinese-speaking)

Portfolio Management Support

Key Responsibilities
  • Portfolio Management Support: Maintain and update detailed investment portfolio records, including capital investments, fixed income instruments, equities, and deposits. Prepare regular investment performance and valuation reports for management review.
  • Month-End and Year-End Management Reporting: Support month-end and year-end portfolio reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of investment and treasury data consolidation (no accounting journal entries involved).
  • Treasury Operations Oversight: Assist in daily monitoring of cash flow, bank balances, fixed deposit placements, and fund transfers. Prepare reconciliations and ensure adequate liquidity for investment needs.
  • Investment Analysis and Evaluation: Conduct investment performance analysis, including yield calculations, return tracking, and variance analysis against projections or benchmarks.
  • Documentation and Audit Support: Prepare and maintain investment schedules, performance summaries, valuations, and supporting documents to facilitate audits and management reporting.
  • Coordination with Financia Institutions: Liaise with fund managers, banks, and other financial institutions to ensure smooth execution of investment transactions and reporting requirements.
  • Data and Analytical Support: Leverage advanced Excel capabilities (pivot tables, financial modeling, data analysis) to support portfolio tracking and decision-making.
Minimum Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1–3 years of relevant experience in finance, investment operations, or treasury support, ideally with exposure to portfolio monitoring and reporting.
  • Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, financial modelling, data analysis). Familiarity with portfolio tracking and management reporting tools.
  • Knowledge: Basic understanding of investment instruments (equities, fixed income, deposits) and financial principles.
  • Language Requirement: Ability to communicate effectively in English and Chinese (Mandarin) to liaise with Chinese-speaking stakeholders and institutions.
