Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in accounting or equivalent.
• 5+ years of relevant experience in similar capacity.
• Good knowledge of SFRS and statutory requirements.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Fast learner and proactive, with strong problem solving and execution capability.
• Ability to adapt and learn quickly while meeting tight deadlines.
• Collaborative team player with the ability to guide and support team members.
• Proficiency in Excel, with willingness to use Power Query, Power Automate, Copilot or other AI-enabled finance tools to improve productivity and reporting quality.
• Continuous improvement mindset with interest in simplifying manual processes, improving controls and enhancing finance delivery through digital and AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary finance representative with departments, clarifying financial results, investigating variances and addressing complex accounting issues.
• Support month-end, quarter-end and year-end closing activities, including leading and reviewing the work performed by GL Executive.
• Review and post journal entries parked by GL Executive into SAP.
• Ensure timely submission of monthly accounts to Group consolidation system (Tagetik EPM).
• Review monthly / quarterly audit schedules and ensure regular clearing of balance sheet items.
• Review monthly bank reconciliation and assist with year-end audit and tax provisions.
• Review GST reports and ensure correct GST treatment and timely submission to IRAS.
• Review and approve e-capex forms for asset requisition, write-off, disposal and transfer.
• Review fixed asset reconciliation and reporting, and inventory reconciliation.
• Monitor project tracking and ensure timely and accurate capitalization of projects.
