Job summary

Ambition Group Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a finance professional to support the Oracle NetSuite rollout across office and project sites in Singapore. The role involves core accounting work and close collaboration with the Accounts General Manager and Assistant Accounts Manager.

The ideal candidate has hands-on NetSuite experience, 2–5 years in AP/full accounting, and familiarity with Singapore GST and income tax. Interaction with finance, IT and external vendors is expected.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of AP / full set of accounting background.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle NetSuite.
• Familiarity with Singapore GST and income tax.
• Comfortable working across finance, IT and external vendors.
• Experience in construction / engineering environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support NetSuite setup, testing and rollout including user support, training and communicating process updates to staff.
• Liaise with vendor, IT and users to resolve system issues.
• Assist in reporting standards, GST and income tax reporting.
• Support finance system enhancement projects.
• Process AP: verify supplier and subcontractor invoices, review petty cash and staff reimbursement claims, and run payments.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to management and Head Office.
• Support the annual audit, income tax computation and GST audits.

Job description

My client is a well-established engineering firm in Singapore, currently implementing Oracle NetSuite across its office and project sites. They're looking for a finance professional to support the rollout and handle core accounting operations, working closely with the Accounts General Manager and Assistant Accounts Manager.

It's a good role for someone who enjoys sitting at the intersection of accounting and systems, with plenty of exposure to a live implementation.

What you'll do

• Support the NetSuite setup, testing and rollout — including user support, training and helping communicate process updates and system guidance to office and site staff
• Liaise with the software vendor, IT and users to help resolve system issues and escape where needed
• Assist in reporting standards, GST and income tax reporting
• Support finance system enhancement projects
• Process AP: verify supplier and subcontractor invoices, review petty cash and staff reimbursement claims, and run payment batches per company procedures
• Assist with monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to management and Head Office
• Support the annual audit, income tax computation and GST audits
