Our client is seeking a Finance Executive (General Ledger) to join their team!
About Our Client

Our client is an investment company evolved from its origins in marine transportation to become a key player in property development and strategic investments. Listed on the Singapore Exchange, the company is committed to delivering long‑term sustainable growth and value for its stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing?

Manage accounts: Handle the full set of accounts for assigned subsidiaries, including general ledger, fixed assets, intercompany transactions, and bank reconciliations.

Financial closings: Perform monthly and year‑end financial closings, ensuring accuracy of accounting entries.

Reporting: Prepare financial schedules, management reports, and variance analyses for assigned entities.

Consolidation: Assist in the consolidation process and preparation of group‑level financial statements.

Tax compliance: Support tax compliance activities, including preparation of tax computations and related schedules.

Liaise: Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and external advisors for your assigned entities.

Budgeting: Assist in budget preparation, cash flow analysis, and government statistical reporting as needed.

Ad‑hoc support: Assist in project work and other ad‑hoc duties where appropriate.

Who are they looking for?

Education: Possesses at least a Diploma in Accounting.

Experience: At least 2‑3 years of relevant experience in handling full set of accounts, preferably for multiple entities.

Knowledge: Good understanding of accounting standards and tax principles.

Skills: A good team player with strong communication and collaboration skills. Meticulous, organized, and able to meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Technical proficiency: Proficient in Sage30, MS Excel, and PowerPoint.

Other Information

Working Hours: Mon to Fri, 8:30-5:30pm

Working Location: The Central @ Clarke Quay Singapore
