A financial services company in Singapore is seeking a Finance Executive/Accountant. The role involves reviewing financial statements, handling GST reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with financial regulations. Candidates should possess a Diploma/Degree in Accountancy, strong cost accounting knowledge, and proficiency in SAP. This position offers opportunities to improve internal financial procedures and participate in audits.
Review staff claims, supplier payments, and manage payment cycles.
Monitor outstanding debts and update management regularly on collection status.
Coordinate with sales, purchasing, and logistics teams for monthly project costing updates.
Prepare and review journal entries, cash flow forecasts, and management reports.
Handle quarterly GST reconciliation and reporting.
Prepare budgets and forecasts for Singapore and Taiwan operations.
Review Taiwan branch financial results and liaise with external bookkeeping partners.
Review of management reports from subsidiaries and prepare group consolidation.
Consolidate financial results for Singapore and Taiwan entities and report to HQ.
Support internal and external audits, liaise with auditors and bankers.
Review and improve internal financial procedures to align with HQ policies.
Maintain accurate documentation and assist with general administrative matters.
Prepare and deliver accurate full-set financial statements on time, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.
Financial Operations: Implement and monitor internal controls and accounting processes to safeguard company assets. Oversee timely and accurate processing of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and reconciliations.
Compliance & Audit: Ensure adherence to financial regulations and standards, and coordinate audits effectively.
Tax Management: Prepare and submit tax and GST filings in compliance with applicable laws.
Collaboration & Support: Work closely with stakeholders across the organization to streamline finance processes, manage various financial matters, and provide ad‑hoc support to new business initiatives.
Min Diploma/ Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification such as ACCA.
Background in manufacturing with hands‑on experience or strong knowledge of cost accounting.
Proficient in SAP accounting software.
