Job description

Our client is a Chinese listed high-tech enterprise specializing in advanced photovoltaic and optoelectronic technologies. With a strong focus on research, development, and global expansion, the company is dedicated to delivering innovative solar solutions that support the transition toward sustainable energy worldwide.

This is a pioneer hire for our client’s Singapore team. We are currently seeking a Finance Executive for our client to support the finance operations. This role will cover accounting, reporting, AR/AP, and taxation, ensuring compliance with both local and group requirements.

This role is based onsite in Singapore and reports to the Singapore business VP. Proficiency in spoken and written Chinese is required to effectively liaise with the VP and China HQ.

Responsibilities
  • Accounting & Compliance: Manage the full set of accounts for the Singapore office; ensure compliance with local accounting standards and tax regulations; support group consolidation and cross-border audits.
  • Treasury & FX Management: Oversee banking operations, including payments, collections, and LC transactions; monitor exchange rate risks; optimize cross-border fund transfers.
  • Cost & Budget Control: Analyze cost variances related to overseas operations; support localized procurement and cost-saving initiatives.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Prepare budgets for overseas business; monitor execution and provide early risk warnings.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, International Business, or related field.
  • 2–3 years of finance/accounting experience in a manufacturing or related industry.
  • Knowledge of international accounting standards and treasury/FX management tools.
  • Proficiency in both English and Chinese (written and spoken).
  • Strong cross-cultural communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
