Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Operations & Accounting
- Handle daily accounting transactions, journal entries, and general ledger maintenance.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
2. Budgeting & Forecasting
- Assist in preparing and monitoring departmental budgets, production budgets, and forecasts.
- Conduct variance analysis to ensure cost control and efficient resource allocation.
- Provide financial insights to management for strategic decision-making.
3. Cash & Treasury Management
- Monitor cash flow and manage payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations.
- Support cash forecasting and working capital management.
4. Taxation & Compliance
- Prepare and submit tax filings, invoices, and ensure compliance with local regulations.
- Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors when necessary.
5. Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Prepare ad hoc financial reports for projects, shows, or campaigns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze profitability and ROI of entertainment projects.
6. Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities to enhance financial processes and reporting efficiency.
- Support implementation of new finance systems or automation tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, financial analysis, and tax compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Excel.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- A team player with attention to detail and a proactive work attitude.
