Job description

Finance Director – South & Southeast Asia

Lead the regional finance function, including accounting, financial planning & analysis (FP&A), treasury, reporting and compliance.

Develop and implement financial strategies to support regional business objectives and growth initiatives.

Prepare and present timely, accurate financial & management reports to senior management and regional stakeholders

Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions to achieve business targets.

Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory requirements.

Manage budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes across the region.

Provide guidance and support to local finance teams, promoting best practices and process improvements.

Drive cost optimisation initiatives, cash flow management, and working capital efficiency.

Participate in strategic business planning, investment decisions, risk management, merger & acquisitions activities and stakeholders management.

Oversee finance audits and coordinate with internal & external auditors and regulatory authorities as needed.
