Job description

We are partnering with a leading global logistics group in their search for a seasoned finance leader to oversee and guide the financial management of a dynamic and multifaceted business across Asia.

This is a high-impact leadership role, reporting directly to the executive board, with a clear mandate to shape financial strategy, enhance capital efficiency, and drive the transformation of the finance function toward a future-ready, digitally enabled model.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Regional Financial Leadership:
    Provide strategic oversight and operational leadership across all financial functions for the group’s diverse business units, spanning logistics services, real estate holdings, and tech platforms.
  • Tax Strategy & Compliance:
    Develop and manage robust tax planning strategies across all jurisdictions, ensuring compliance with direct and indirect tax regulations including corporate income tax, VAT/GST, real estate tax, and withholding tax. Ensure alignment with OECD transfer pricing policies.
  • Strategic Partnership:
    Work closely with the senior leadership team to develop and execute long-term strategic and financial plans that align with the group’s vision and growth priorities, identifying key risks and opportunities.
  • Digital & Analytical Transformation:
    Drive the transformation of the finance function through digital tools, automation, and advanced analytics. Enhance business partnering capabilities to improve commercial decision-making and reporting quality.
  • Capital Allocation & Asset Development:
    Lead financial evaluation and capital allocation strategies for large-scale asset development initiatives across the region. Ensure value-maximizing investment decisions and optimal capital structuring.
  • Treasury & Fundraising:
    Lead the treasury function, managing relationships with banks, financial institutions, and multilateral financing bodies (e.g., IFC, ADB, AIIB). Formulate and implement effective fundraising and financing strategies to meet growth and development needs.
  • Financial Risk Management:
    Oversee the full spectrum of treasury operations, including loan administration, covenant compliance, and risk mitigation strategies related to interest rate and foreign exchange exposure.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree, CA/CPA accreditations
  • Proven track record as a finance leader within complex, multi-entity, and cross-border environments
  • Deep understanding of tax, treasury, and capital markets
  • Strategic mindset with strong business acumen
  • Passion for digital transformation and data-driven decision-making
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, with experience engaging with global investors and financial institutions
