Qualifications

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Strategy & Management
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s long-term goals.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
  • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the CEO and board.
  • Analyze financial data to improve profitability and operational efficiency.
2. Reporting & Compliance
  • Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, and performance analyses — including those written in Chinese.
  • Ensure compliance with Chinese accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Liaise with auditors, banks, and government authorities in both English and Chinese.
  • Maintain accurate and timely financial reporting systems.
3. Internal Controls & Risk Management
  • Establish and monitor internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
  • Identify and manage financial, operational, and compliance risks.
  • Ensure transparency and accountability across departments.
4. Leadership & Team Management
  • Lead and develop the finance and accounting team, including bilingual reporting structures.
  • Foster collaboration with other departments such as operations, supply chain, and HR.
  • Conduct financial training or briefings in Chinese when necessary.
5. Strategic Business Support
  • Support business expansion, mergers, and acquisitions through financial due diligence.
  • Evaluate investment opportunities and capital structure options.
  • Provide insights into cost control, pricing, and resource allocation.
Qualifications
