Job description

We are looking for a Finance & Operations Manager to join our core team and take ownership of the company’s accounting, financial management, ERP (Odoo) administration, and inventory planning. This is a key role that ensures smooth financial and operational execution as we scale internationally.

Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Finance
  • Manage all aspects of accounting, bookkeeping, and financial reporting (monthly, quarterly, annual).
  • Ensure compliance with Singapore tax, accounting, and statutory requirements.
  • Prepare budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections.
  • Oversee accounts payable/receivable, banking, and payment processing.
ERP (Odoo) Management
  • Serve as the internal lead for Odoo ERP — finance, inventory, and sales modules.
  • Customize and optimize Odoo workflows to support business needs.
  • Train and support team members in Odoo usage.
Inventory & Operations
  • Coordinate with China production partner on inventory planning and supply chain needs.
  • Monitor stock levels, shipments, and fulfillment processes.
  • Build efficient systems for inventory forecasting and demand planning.
Cross-Border Collaboration
  • Work closely with the Singapore HQ, China factory partner, and US-based sales/marketing team.
  • Consolidate financial and operational data across regions for leadership reporting.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of similar experience in this role handling accounting/finance, ideally with exposure to inventory-driven businesses.
  • Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, tax compliance, and reporting.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Odoo preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Startup mindset — proactive, resourceful, and comfortable wearing multiple hats.
Nice to Have
  • Experience in consumer electronics, e-commerce, or cross-border trade.
  • Familiarity with international tax/accounting concepts (China/US exposure).
  • Previous experience setting up or scaling financial systems for a startup.
