This role serves as the regional finance leader for our client's APAC operations, with a strong focus on FP&A, financial business partnering, and consolidation across multiple entities. You will drive the accuracy and integrity of financial planning cycles, deliver strategic insights to senior stakeholders, and enhance financial controls and governance to support sustainable, profitable growth across the region.

Client Details

Our client is a French multinational specializing in high-performance lubricants and fluids. With its APAC headquarters in Singapore, they manage operations across 10+ markets and are driving continuous transformation in their business functions, including finance. They are now looking for a Finance Controller to drive end-to-end FP&A cycles, deliver actionable commercial insights to the business, and elevate consolidation and reporting standards across the region.

Description
  • Lead APAC consolidation across Actuals, Budget, Forecast, and Multi-Year Plan, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and actionable insights.
  • Drive regional FP&A processes, including scenario planning, variance analysis, and forecasting to support strategic decision-making.
  • Act as a trusted financial business partner to country and regional leadership, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for growth and efficiency.
  • Present KPIs, ratios, and business drivers to the CFO and leadership team, translating complex financials into clear, decision-ready information.
  • Develop and implement financial models, dashboards, and reporting tools to support planning, performance tracking, and business analysis.
  • Lead and coach a team of 3+ finance professionals, building FP&A, analytical, and stakeholder management capabilities.
  • Lead finance systems initiatives (SAP ECC to S/4HANA) to enhance reporting, forecasting, and business partnering capabilities.
  • Foster a high-performing, collaborative finance culture aligned with company values and strategic objectives.
Profile
  • 8-12 years of finance or controlling experience in a regional role within trading or manufacturing.
  • Professional qualifications (CPA/CA/ACCA) with strong IFRS/GAAP technical expertise.
  • Previous experience in a Big 4 firm is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience in financial consolidation, reporting, and systems implementation (SAP experience preferred).
  • Hands-on leadership with strong communication and stakeholder management skills across cultures.
