Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day finance operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
- Prepare and post accurate and timely journal entries for various transactions, including bank transactions, prepayments, fixed asset depreciation, and accruals.
- Review vendor invoices, staff reimbursements, and patient refund payments for accuracy and completeness.
- Oversee month‑end and year‑end closing, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and review financial statements in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Prepare and perform monthly reconciliations of all intercompany transactions to ensure balances are in alignment.
- Assist in preparing annual budgets, forecasts, and financial performance reports.
- Conduct variance analysis and monitor cash flow and profitability across clinic entities.
- Ensure compliance with CPF, IRAS, GST, and other statutory regulations.
- Monitor cash flow position and forecast short‑term and long‑term funding needs.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and corporate secretarial partners.
- Maintain proper documentation, internal controls, and audit trails.
- Supervise and guide finance executives and assistants, providing coaching and review of their work.
- Collaborate with operations and clinic teams to ensure alignment between financial and operational processes.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and efficiency within the finance function.
- Any other ad‑hoc duties assign.
Requirements
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a professional qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA).
- Minimum 5 years of accounting experience, including at least 2–3 years in a supervisory role.
- Proficient in Xero and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of Singapore accounting, tax, and GST regulations.
- Experience in multi‑entity reporting and consolidation preferred.
- Analytical, detail‑oriented, and capable of working under tight deadlines.
- Strong integrity, professionalism, and communication skills.
- Prior experience in healthcare or service‑based industries will be an advantage.
