We are seeking a Japanese-speaking Manager to oversee the Finance, Administration, HR, and Logistics functions. This role will work closely with the Managing Director to support company’s growth and operation efficiency.
Job Description
- Lead and manage the Finance, Administration, HR, and Logistics departments, collaborating directly with the Managing Director to drive key strategic decisions that support the company's growth and efficiency.
- Manage the company's financial accounting operations, ensuring compliance with both local and international accounting standards. Work with the Japanese parent company’s finance team on consolidated financial reporting.
- Oversee the logistics operations for Early Life Nutrition and B2B raw material products, ensuring efficient and smooth supply chain processes. Collaborate with the Japanese headquarters’ logistics department to ensure seamless communication and problem-solving in logistics and supply chain management.
- Oversee HR functions, including employee training, and benefits administration.
- Lead and manage the finance, administration, HR, and logistics teams, ensuring high performance, effective teamwork, and achievement of departmental goals.
- Provide strategic recommendations to the Managing Director based on insights from finance, administration, HR, and logistics operations, and contribute to key strategic decision-making processes.
- Ensure smooth communication with the Japanese-speaking teams at the Japanese parent company, responding to requests related to consolidated accounting and financial reporting, as well as logistics and supply chain matters.
- Involve in key cross-departmental initiatives that require financial or logistical support, contributing to overall company growth and efficiency.
Job Requirements
- Proficiency in Japanese (verbal and written) to liaise with Japanese-speaking clients and stakeholders.
- Significant experience in the food industry, covering the described field.
- Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles, including consolidated financial statements.
- Capability and professional expertise to perform the responsibilities listed in the job description.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to drive collaboration and performance across multiple departments.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills with the ability to assess situations and recommend effective solutions.
