Job summary

RecruitFirst is hiring a Financial Analyst on a 6-month contract in Singapore, offering finance business partnering support to drive timely analysis and business decisions. This role runs Mon-Fri with 1 day of work-from-home, near Macpherson MRT, and a monthly gross salary up to SGD 6,000.

You will deliver forecasts, budgets, financial models, and business-case reviews to support strategic initiatives within the division.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or professional qualification (CIMA, ACCA).
• At least 2 years of FP&A experience.
• Meticulous with strong analytical skills.
• Good communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
• Able to handle ambiguity independently and deliver within tight timelines in a fast-paced environment.
• Tenacity and strong problem-solving ability.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; SAP and ANAPLAN knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide Finance Business Partnering support, delivering comprehensive and timely financial analysis, insights, and recommendations.
• Prepare monthly/quarterly forecasts and the annual budget exercise, reviewing financial assumptions and flagging risks/issues.
• Lead OPEX consolidation for the Division, ensuring timely submission.
• Participate in the annual Product Costing exercise.
• Review business cases and build financial models to assess the feasibility of initiatives/products before presenting to business leaders.
• Ensure timely and accurate closing of finance and accounting activities, with in-depth financial performance analysis.
• Provide variance explanations (actual vs. budget/forecast) and report key findings to the business.

• Tenacity and strong problem-solving ability
• Competent in Microsoft Office; knowledge of SAP and ANAPLAN is an advantage
