Finance Analyst – Technology Finance
We are seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy Finance Analyst to join our Technology Finance team. This role sits at the intersection of finance, IT operations, and project management, offering the opportunity to contribute to financial reporting, budget tracking, asset lifecycle management, and technology finance initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Generate and analyze PR/GR and financial reports using SAP and other enterprise systems.
- Process invoice payments and ensure timely reconciliation of technology-related expenses.
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Partner with senior technology leaders to monitor and optimize budget utilization for IT projects and operations.
- Support the renewal, budgeting, and financial tracking of software and hardware contracts.
- Assist in managing project budgets, tracking spend against forecasts, and identifying variances.
- Prepare monthly financial dashboards and provide insights to the Technology Finance team.
- Oversee IT asset management, including inventory tracking, issuance, and decommissioning of laptops and other hardware.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and audit requirements.
- Support ad-hoc financial and asset-related tasks as assigned by the Technology Finance Lead.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business,Accounting or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in a finance role within a technology-driven environment, financial institution, or consulting firm (fresh graduates with relevant internship experience may apply).
- Strong Excel skills, with experience in financial modelling and data analysis.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.
- High attention to detail and a disciplined approach to data management.
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Experience in process improvement and automation within finance operations.
- Familiarity with PMO support in technology or banking projects is a plus.
- Proactive, collaborative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Key Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint).
- Good to have knowledge of SAP (PEMS or similar ERP systems).
- Solid understanding of financial treatment for various technology expense types (CapEx vs. OpEx).
- Experience with IT asset lifecycle management is a plus.
