Job summary

A leading staffing agency in Singapore is seeking a Finance Assistant for a contract renewable role. The position involves controlling cost centers, supporting the forecasting process, and managing operational tasks. Ideal candidates should possess a Diploma or Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or Business, and basic knowledge of accounts is desirable. The role offers a hybrid work arrangement and is open to Singaporeans without prior experience. Competitive compensation is provided, with a structured workweek from 9am to 6pm.

Responsibilities

  • Control cost centres, including monthly actuals, analysis, and rolling forecasts.
  • Support backlog forecasting, month-end closing, accruals, and quarterly sales order housekeeping.
  • Coordinate with regional teams on outstanding deliveries and operational follow-ups.
  • Manage debit memos, fixed asset tracking, and internal order creation.
  • Review accounts receivable and support credit limit reviews.

The Opportunity:

  3. 5 days work week, 9am to 6pm (hybrid)

Our client is the key regional hub for sales, engineering, project delivery, and strategic operations in Southeast Asia. Its primary business covers the sales of automation, control, electrical equipment, software and services across multiple industries. You will be part of their Finance team assisting with the forecasting of financials and performing reporting activities.

The Job:
  • Controlled cost centres, including monthly actuals, analysis, and rolling forecasts.
  • Supported backlog forecasting, month-end closing, accruals, and quarterly sales order housekeeping.
  • Coordinated with regional teams on outstanding deliveries, GR/IR issues, billing, and operational follow-ups.
  • Managed debit memos, fixed asset tracking, and internal order creation.
  • Reviewed accounts receivable with regional teams and supported credit limit and partner contract reviews.
