Job summary

ACEXCELLENT CONSULTING PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a senior accounting professional to support MAS regulatory reporting and related controls.

You will review reports, liaise with tax agents and auditors, and ensure timely, accurate disclosures in financial statements. The role requires 7+ years in banks or financial services, a degree in accountancy, strong Excel skills, and bilingual English/Chinese communication.

Qualifications

• Degree in accountancy or related accounting qualifications.
• 7+ years relevant accounting experience in banks, preferably with prior MAS regulatory reporting experience.
• Basic understanding of financial products and services.
• Proficient in MS Excel is essential as incumbent needs to harness data on daily basis.
• Meticulous with strong attention to details.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese to liaise with colleagues from mainland China.
• A good team player with a positive attitude.
• Self-driven with a keen interest and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with review of local regulatory reporting including MAS notices and respond to inquiries.
• Coordinate with tax agent, provide tax information and verify data for compliant filings.
• Provide data for external auditors and ensure annual report disclosures are accurate.
• Review internal management reports and daily regulatory database calculations.
• Review staff claims and payment for daily operating expenses.
• Review accounting schedules such as Fixed Assets Register and Listing of OPEX.
• Review Journal Entries and assist with liquidity risk management controls.
• Assist with reviews of Head Office reports and ensure timely reporting to Head Office.

Responsibilities

• Assists with the review of local regulatory reporting (including, but not limited to, MAS Notice 610, 640, 649, 758, etc) and respond to the inquiries related to MAS reports;
• Communicate with the company's tax agent, provide relevant tax information, and verify the tax agent's submitted data to ensure accurate and compliant tax filings;
• Communicate with external auditors, provide the necessary data for the audit, and ensure the company's annual report is properly disclosed;
• Review internal management report such as daily monitoring and report calculation, daily regulatory data base calculation;
• Reviews staff claims and payment for daily operating expenses;
• Reviews accounting schedules such as Fixed Assets Register and Listing of OPEX;
• Reviews Journal Entries;
• Assist with liquidity risk management controls;
• Assist with reviews of Head Office reports and schedules required by Head Office and ensure timely and accurate reporting to Head Office;
• Other administrative supports.

Requirements
