Job summary

A technology solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to provide on-site technical support and maintenance for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems. Job description

Provides on-site technical support, maintenance, and troubleshooting for Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems and power equipment. The role ensures reliable power continuity for customers through preventive maintenance, corrective actions, and timely response to service requests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance, testing, and health checks on UPS systems, batteries, power distribution units (PDUs), and related electrical equipment.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve UPS and power-related faults on-site, ensuring minimal downtime for customers.
  • Conduct installation, commissioning, and configuration of UPS units and power systems according to manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
  • Provide field support for emergency call-outs, performing rapid assessments and implementing corrective measures.
  • Maintain detailed service reports, maintenance logs, and documentation for all field activities.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and internal teams on replacement parts, system upgrades, and repair activities.
  • Ensure adherence to electrical safety practices, industry standards, and customer requirements during all maintenance tasks.
  • Educate customers on equipment operation, best practices, and early indicators of potential issues.

This role requires strong technical knowledge of electrical systems, hands-on field experience, and the ability to work independently under varying site conditions.

Class 3 driving license is a must.
