A leading energy service provider in Singapore is seeking a Field Service Manager to oversee technical service operations and build customer relationships. The successful candidate will manage field service personnel, ensure safety compliance, and support commercial sales efforts. Prior experience in field service and a Technical Diploma in engineering are required for this role. This position involves outdoor work in various conditions and necessitates strong leadership skills.
A successful candidate for this role will be responsible for direct customer relationship building and supervision training and mentoring of field service personnel for APAC region to accomplish the testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning of a wide variety of combustion, mechanical, electrical, and control equipment on our manufactured and packaged equipment.
The systems include, but is not limited to boiler systems, burners, flares, thermal oxidizers, VRUs, VCUs, and involves blowers, pumps, motors, valves, actuators, transmitters, emission monitoring equipment, recorders, and programmable logic controllers (PLC), HMI screens, VFDs, and other control equipment.
A Day in the Life:
To be successful, the Technical Services Manager will have to manage a team of Field service personnel and be able to solve problems with little or no outside input. Time Management, project and manpower schedule planning are critical to succeed in this position. Chosen candidate will need to be responsible for meeting all the safety, health and performance training requirements for themselves and insure all their direct reports are in 100% compliance.
