The role is designed to oversee both service and project responsibilities, ensuring the seamless delivery of Honeywell's offerings to customer sites while aligning with the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) for revenue and margin goals. The incumbent will play a key role in servicing customer locations by upholding contractual obligations and key performance indicators (KPIs), aimed at maximizing client satisfaction and minimizing downtime through exceptional support.
The position necessitates effective management of the technical team and sub-contractors to guarantee high-quality service delivery to Honeywell's clients. Responsibilities include workload management, process improvements, and ensuring thorough verification of works. The role requires liaising with clients, addressing escalations, and overseeing financial forecasting and job control, including variations administration and associated invoicing/project progress claims. Additionally, the individual will be instrumental in defining project responsibilities by identifying phases and elements and assigning the appropriate personnel while evaluating contractor bids. Project specifications will be determined by analyzing product designs, customer requirements, and performance standards, supplemented by thorough technical studies and cost estimations.
The successful candidate will establish and maintain project schedules by interpreting project plans and specifications, calculating time requirements, and sequencing elements accordingly. Ongoing project supervision will be essential, requiring monitoring of progress, coordination of activities, and resolution of issues that arise. Furthermore, the role involves managing project plans by reviewing design specifications, implementing necessary changes, and recommending corrective actions as needed. Lastly, it includes financial oversight in controlling project costs, approving expenditures, and administering contracts with contractors.
