Job summary

Universal (Far East) Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a field service technician to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain chamber, oven, chiller and semiconductor testing equipment. You will provide on-site technical support and prepare service schedules within budgets.

Responsibilities include planning and reporting, coordinating subcontractors, assembling and testing equipment per drawings and SOPs, and handling ad-hoc duties as needed.

Qualifications

• ITE/Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronic with relevant experience.
• Prior experience with electrical and electronics work is a plus.
• Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Installation, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance for Chamber, Oven, Chiller & Semiconductor Testing equipment.
• Provide Technical Support in the field.
• Prepare onsite for service schedules within budgets.
• Create and execute work plans and revise as needed to meet changing requirements.
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the after sales service.
• Prepare progress reports, risk assessments and client updates.
• Manage sub-contractors and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Carry out assembly, integration, and basic testing of in-house equipment per drawings and SOPs.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
