Job summary

HMH, a leading provider of drilling solutions, invites a Field Service Engineer (Mechanical/ Hydraulic) in Singapore to join our global team. You will install, commission, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair equipment onshore and offshore, with frequent travel.

The role requires a degree in a relevant discipline and at least two years of relevant experience; fresh graduates are welcome. You must be willing to work long and irregular hours in offshore environments and be medically fit.

Qualifications

• Degree in relevant discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
• Willing to travel frequently and work long/irregular hours offshore.
• Medical fitness for offshore work.
• Strong technical concepts and teamwork with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Involve in project installation & commissioning activities on site (shipyard).
• Follow up and hands-on training of drilling rig crew in operation.
• Attend FATS in workshop.
• Participate in overhaul and mounting of equipment in workshop.
• Provide technical information to customers on site.
• Inform, update and transfer database on HMH-rig product and status on equipment.
• Perform safety inspections and surveys.
• Perform services and upgrades on HMH equipment on site (offshore and on-shore) and in workshop.
• Support the implementation of departmental HSSE and Quality plans.
• Take personal responsibility for HSSE and Quality.
• Deliver Technical Reports.
• Customer Satisfaction Assessments.
• Internal audits (ISO).
• Training related to HSSE and Quality.
