A leading global player in the life sciences sector is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide exceptional technical support across advanced analytical systems. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, 4 years of experience in field service, and a strong technical understanding of optical, electrical, and mechanical systems. This role requires extensive travel (up to 75% in Greater Asia) and offers the chance to be part of a dynamic, innovative organization.

Qualifications

  • At least 4 years of experience in field service or technical support.
  • Prior experience with life science instrumentation or analytical systems (mass spectrometry experience an advantage).

Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair analytical instruments across customer sites.
  • Troubleshoot complex hardware and software issues involving optical, electrical, and mechanical systems.
  • Manage and resolve technical service cases efficiently while maintaining customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to service documentation and process improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to relay product and service feedback.
  • Utilize CRM tools for case management and reporting.
  • Be prepared for extensive travel — up to 75% across Greater Asia.
