Job description

Responsibilities

• Investigate and manage customers’ complaints, product failures, and technical issues.
• Provide after-sales technical support, troubleshooting, and on-site services to distributors and end customers.
• Review and assist in processing warranty claims from distributors.
• Provide standby support, including 24/7 emergency call response for customer service needs.
• Perform installation, commissioning, and on-site training according to project scope and customer requirements.
• Deliver timely after-sales support to ensure equipment is fully operational.
• Handle a wide range of diesel generator sets (small to large capacity) and support internal departments in service and training matters.
• Ensure all technical documentation, training materials, and service records are up-to-date and well‑organised.
• Conduct technical training for distributors and dealers to build capability in service and troubleshooting.
• Maintain strong working relationships with key customers and follow through until issues are fully resolved.
• Provide technical assistance for factory testing of special project units.
• Investigate root causes of failures and recommend effective solutions.
• Manage warranty‑related matters from a technical standpoint.
• Perform other service or training duties as assigned by management.
• Undertake any other ad‑hoc responsibilities as required.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in service, repair, or maintenance, preferably involving diesel generator sets or rotating equipment.
• Prior mechanical experience with engines such as MHI, MTU, John Deere, or Volvo is highly preferred.
