Job Description Summary

You will support repair and maintaining of Patient Care Solutions (PCS) modality systems. This may include, but is not limited to installing, repairing, testing and delivering quality services related to field services, maintaining operations hygiene and ensuring that all related performance metrics are met. Responsible for developing and maintaining strong interpersonal relationships with customer representatives, ensuring high level of customer satisfaction.

Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintains all models specific to the Patient Care Solutions (PCS) Modality in the assigned area.

  • Perform total system level troubleshooting on complex multi-symptom problems.

  • Maintain daily interface with Biomedical Engineers, Clinicians & end-users on equipment status issues, to ensure satisfaction of primary customers.

  • Assist in Account Sales visits and identify Sales opportunities and communicate them to account team.

  • Assists in the growth and direction of business in his/her assigned area.

  • Responsible for Warranty, Installation and PM (Preventive Maintenance) contract cost control.

  • Complete all administration tasks on time (e.g., ensure timely completion of Field Modification Instructions and Preventive Maintenance Service inspections documentation for assigned accounts).

  • Maintain effective quality systems and programs compliant with ISO 9001 standard, according to the GE Service Quality Policy Statement.

Quality Specific Goals:
  • Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position.

  • Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines.

  • Identify and report any customer quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization.

  • Identify and report any personal quality or compliance concerns immediately to the Quality Organization.

  • Ensure timely dispatch closure.

  • Ensure completion of all field modifications instructions (FMI) within prescribed timeframe.

  • Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible.

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Degree in Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent.

  • Minimum of 5 years field service experience in the medical industry with Patient Care Solutions experience required.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to address any technicalities.

  • Good DICOM knowledge on network connectivity for integration of IT solutions – experience with MUSE Cardiology Information System and Telemetry required.

  • High work standards with strong sense of accountability and ownership over customer issues and other responsibilities.

  • Growth mindset with strong initiative and motivation to learn.

  • Strong customer skills and deals tactfully and effectively with differences of opinion.

  • A good team player and can work seamlessly with cross-functional teams.

  • Proficient in English, both verbal and written communication.
