Canon Medical Systems Asia is a subsidiary of Canon Medical Systems Corporation, a global medical technology company that develops and produces diagnostic imaging systems, including CT, MRI, ultrasound, X‑ray, and healthcare IT solutions. Canon Medical Systems Asia is based in Singapore and serves customers throughout the Asia‑Pacific region.

We are seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team in Singapore that provides excellent support to the organization. This candidate will report to the Head of Service Division.

You should possess excellent communication skills and a team player, with ability to take initiative and work independently.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Install medical imaging equipment effectively and efficiently.
  • Perform PM inspections per equipment specifications and standards.
  • Corrective and preventive maintenance of diagnostic imaging equipment.
  • Prepare work/service orders, parts orders, part returns, expense/claim forms, and other administrative paperwork.
  • Maintain all assigned company assets.
  • Maintain excellent customer relations.
  • Maintain accurate and complete documentation.
  • Develop a higher level of troubleshooting and analytical skills.
  • Perform and document FSN/FMI/FSCA reporting on assigned products.
  • Ability to work under pressure and irregular work hours.
  • Good team player with an initiative to help out teammates and always ready to take on more tasks.
  • Positive and proactive attitude, independent, self‑motivated with a strong passion for work.
  • Proven ability in developing and maintaining effective internal and external working relationships.
  • Improve personal productivity by enhancing product/technical knowledge through formal and on‑the‑job training.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Diploma in Electronic, Electrical, Mechatronic or Biomedical Engineering.
  • Knowledge in basic electrical, electronic, computer hardware, and networking experiences.
  • Candidate must be comfortable working night shifts.
  • Candidate must be comfortable with standby duties.
  • Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross‑functional teams.
  • Related experience in the healthcare or medical industry will be an added advantage.
  • Experience servicing medical devices are an added advantage.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Works in a well‑organized manner with great accuracy.
