Responsibilities
- Prepare and evaluate equipment to be used in on-site troubleshooting and analysis
- Review work order and related documentation to determine tasks to be performed in the troubleshooting assignment
- Discuss assignment with internal technical representatives and customer’s representative to understand the nature of the problem and ensure that the product was properly assembled according to specifications
- Assist with coordinating the installation of hardware as required
- Test mechanical and electrical components, using the appropriate tools, and replace faulty components as necessary
- Track and trend on-site problem detection and resolution
- May train customer’s staff as required
- Make technical recommendations on product improvement, reliability and troubleshooting techniques and tools based on product performance
- Work closely with senior engineers on the resolution of the more complex and difficult problems in the field
- Train lower level technicians
- Monitor processes and assemblies for product Design for Manufacturability (DFM) issues and drive feedback through appropriate channels
- All employees are responsible for the Quality of their work to ensure BEI meets, or exceeds Customer Satisfaction
- Track and record all incoming shipment parts/modules and installation date
- Work with customer and counterparts to ensure closure of SPDA parts
Requirements
- Nitec/ Higher Nitec in Engineering with 1 -2 years of relevant experience. Fresh Graduates are welcome to apply
- Diploma in Engineering with few years of relevant experience will be considered for Engineer position
