Job summary

SING TAO PTE. LTD. invites a capable Site Engineer to support wireless mobile network project implementations in Singapore.

You will conduct site surveys, kickoff meetings, and progress reviews while preparing technical proposals per project standards. Responsibilities include commissioning, integration, maintenance of telecom equipment, and coordinating with clients such as HDB, LTA, building owners. Qualifications

• Diploma / ITE in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in telecom wireless industry.
• Basic RF and cellular network knowledge.
• Basic M&E (Electrical/Mechanical) knowledge.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Able to work independently and on site.

Responsibilities

• Assist Project Manager in wireless network project implementation.
• Prepare technical proposals and project documentation per standards.
• Conduct site works: surveys, kick-off meetings, site meetings, and acceptance.
• Perform commissioning, integration and maintenance of telecom equipment with documentation.
• Attend project meetings and report site status and progress to stakeholders.
• Conduct field tests and collect data for performance analysis.
• Coordinate with clients and on-site teams on requirements and progress.
• Manage weekly reports and updates to the project manager.
• Provide site supervisor training if needed.
• Ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance.

• Assist Project Manager in the implementation of Wireless Mobile Network projects
• Prepare technical proposals and documentation according to project standards
• Conduct site works, such as survey, kick-off meeting, site meetings and acceptance of work
• Perform Commissioning, Integration and maintenance of communication equipment with documentation.
• Attend project meeting, presentation to stakeholder regarding site status and progress
• Conduct field test and data collection for performance analysis
• Competent to carry out troubleshooting of customer’s equipment
• Coordinate with clients such as other authorities HDB, LTA, Building Owner for Private sites and installation teams on site requirements and progress
• Manage weekly report tracker update and report to project manager.
• Conduct training for site supervisor if necessary
• Ensure Compliance with workplace safety, health and other regulatory requirements
• Any other Ad hoc works assigned by management

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma / ITE in Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in telecom wireless industry.
• Basic RF (Radio Frequency) / Telecommunication knowledge
• Basic M&E (Electrical and Mechanical) Knowledge
• Basic cellular network communications knowledge, configuration and operations
• Good team work and interpersonal skills
• Good communication skills
• Able to work independently
• Able to commission / integrate / troubleshoot / test equipment is an added advantage
• Valid class 3 driving / class 2b motorcycle license is an added advantage
