Overview
You will play a key role in delivering world-class support and service to customers. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and calibration of instruments and systems across laboratories, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and qualify Agilent instruments and software at customer sites.
- Perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting on a wide range of Agilent analytical instruments (e.g., HPLC, GC, MS, UV-Vis, FTIR, Spectroscopy systems).
- Deliver prompt and effective onsite and remote technical support to minimize downtime and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues independently or in collaboration with global technical support teams.
- Maintain accurate service records, reports, and documentation in accordance with company standards.
- Provide basic operational training to customers following installation or service visits.
- Identify service opportunities and communicate customer needs to Sales and Product teams to drive business growth.
- Ensure all service activities are performed in compliance with EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) policies and quality procedures.
- Manage service parts, tools, and test equipment efficiently to ensure field readiness.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Electronics, Instrumentation, Biomedical, Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
- 3 years of experience in field service, instrumentation maintenance, or analytical laboratory equipment support.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills in electronic/mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with chromatography, spectroscopy, or mass spectrometry systems preferred.
- Proficiency in English and local language (written & verbal).
