Job summary

A leading technical services provider in Singapore is seeking a skilled technical support professional. The role involves providing support to the sales team and customers, installing and repairing audio-visual equipment, and training partners on product usage. Candidates should have 3-5 years of relevant experience and a degree in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering. The ideal applicant must be able to work under pressure and travel within South East Asia as needed.

Job description

Provide quality technical support to the sales team, partners and end-users, handling general to complex field engineering assignments.

Resolve pre and post sales technical issues, implement interim solutions, and elevate outstanding issues to the Technical Service Manager for resolution.

Maintain high quality standards and performance of company equipment and products in all venues.

Assist with the installation, calibration, troubleshooting, commissioning and repair of equipment.

Train partners and customer liaisons in the proper use of the company’s products, systems, tools and test equipment required for optimal performance.

Prepare and assist in the preparation of technical documentation, reports and training material.

Support region exhibition activities and product demonstrations.

Handle any other duties and responsibilities that may be assigned by the Technical Service Manager.

Job Requirements

Degree or Diploma in Electronics or Mechanical Engineering.

At least 3 to 5 years of hands‑on experience in installing and repairing audio‑visual equipment or providing technical support to customers.

Possess good project management skills, understanding of customer requirements, and customer workflow in different industries.

Possess good experience in projector technology to include necessary tools, software, optics, and projector setup in the field.

Certified Technology Specialists (Audio Visual & Network) and knowledge of JD Edwards/Oracle system will be an added advantage.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision, and work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.

Must be able to travel within short notice within South East Asia.
