Job summary

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China is seeking a capable professional to support its Financial Institutions relationship managers in KYC, credit applications, loan documentation and client meetings. The role exposes you to CNY settlement, trade finance, bonds, bilateral loans and deposits, with responsibilities expanding as needed by leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Banking and Finance, International Business or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience; banking sector experience is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese-speaking clients or staff.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Good interpersonal skills to handle stakeholders across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Support FI relationship managers with KYC, credit applications, loan documentation and client meetings.
• Exposure to CNY settlement, trade finance, bond issuance, bilateral loans/syndication, deposits and related products.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by Head of Department or Company.

Job Description

• 1. Support the FI relationship managers, including but not limited to conducting KYC, credit applications, preparation of loan documentations, preparing marketing documents and various reports, arranging the meetings between clients and the relationship managers as and when necessary.
• 2. Exposure to different financialproducts, such as CNY settlement, trade finance, bond issuance, bilateral loan/syndication, deposits etc.
• 3. Any other tasks or duties assigned by Head of Department or Company from time to time

Job Requirements

Recognised Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Banking and Finance, International Business or other related disciplines

• 1. At least 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity. Prior working experience in banking sector will be advantageous.
• 2. Fluent written and spoken on English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese speaking clients or employees
• 3. Ability to multi-task and work under pressure
• 4. Good interpersonal skills to handle stakeholders across multiple departments
