Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Temp Dental Surgery Assistant to gain hands-on experience in a healthcare environment. The role offers practical exposure in a dental clinic and requires a proactive, patient-focused attitude.

You will provide chairside assistance during procedures, support patients (including those with special needs), and help with infection control, hygiene, and post-operative care. Prior dental training is essential; training will be provided as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum Nitec/Diploma in Dentistry.
• Comfortable with hands-on clinical duties in a dental environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to dentists during dental procedures.
• Support patients, including special needs patients and migrant workers.
• Provide oral hygiene, plaque control and post-operative instructions.
• Ensure proper infection control, clinic cleanliness and safety standards.
• Manage patient appointments, enquiries, billing and CHAS claims.
• Monitor dental equipment and stock inventory.
• Liaise with vendors, social workers and outreach partners.
• Assist with other administrative duties as required.
